"Agoria" Award
"Agoria Vlaanderen", the multi-sector federation of the technological industry, supports the Flemish Dissertation Award. Agoria specifically aims at promoting and stimulating creative technological research of young scientists.
Since 2008 Agoria offers the winner of the Flemish Dissertation Award an extra dissertation award worth 500 euros for Technology and Innovation: the "Agoria" Award.
Criteria for the Agoria Award:
- news value
- scientific quality
- popularisation/ clarity
- innovative character
- relevance for the technological sector
The jury of the Agoria Award consists of professionals from within the technological industry.
Students who have written a dissertation related to technology and innovation and enter the Flemish Dissertation Award will automatically enter the "Agoria" Award. This way they can attract twice the amount of attention.
The deadline for entering your thesis is October 11, 2010. The regulations and registration form can be found on the website of the Flemish Dissertation Award. Do not forget to mention you want to enter the "Agoria" Award as well.
