History
The Flemish Dissertation Award and the Flemish Dissertation Bank originally were two initiatives of the Pascal Decroos Fund for Investigative Journalism. In three years time, the Flemish Dissertation Award became an independent organ and since 2005 it is organized by the nonprofit organization " Scriptie vzw".
