Reinforced Concrete

A circular collection of recycled pieces of reinforced concrete from demolition sites, meticulously opened with jackhammers until the steel reinforcement bars are exposed. As much concrete as feasible is then peeled away to reduce weight, after-which the steel reinforcement bars were folded and shaped into low seating furniture. The height of the seats is determined by the length of the given piece of reinforced concrete. There is an option to make it higher by welding additional pieces of rebar to the ends.
Reinforced concrete is widely used today, but I always try to think a step further, what happens next? Where is it going and what is being done with it. After its life cycle, the steel reinforcement bars are removed from the concrete and the concrete is crushed. Very labour-intensive, that's why I'm taking up the challenge as a pioneer to reuse it in its original form and not add anything, just remove material where it is needed.
