Een handleiding die meer informatie geeft aan de ondernemer, hoe men van een onbekende bezoeker een lead kan maken.

Deze masterproef gaat na of het mogelijk is om zinkvonken (EDM) toe te passen op koolstofcomposiet (CFRP). Er is over dit onderwerp weinig literatuur beschikbaar. Daarom wordt gestart met enkele experimenten. Deze tonen aan dat industrieel CFRP (???? = 0,01Ωcm) bewerkbaar is met vonkerosie. Een ruimer opgezet experimenteel onderzoek, bestudeert in tweede instantie de optredende materiaalafnamemechanismen en de invloed van het vonkproces op het materiaal. De volgende experimentele randvoorwaarden zijn daarbij van toepassing: een koperelektrode (Ø = 10mm) met negatieve polarisatie die 1mm diep vonkt. Een parameterbereik met stroom van 1 tot 65A en pulsduur van 0,8 tot 200µs. Verder wordt een machinefunctionaliteit gebruikt waardoor overige parameters automatisch optimaal worden geregeld. Het resultaat wordt onderzocht via een spaananalyse en microscopie, en SEM en EDX analyses toegepast op bewerkte doorsneden en oppervlakken. Dit laat toe om vier mogelijke optredende materiaalafnamemechanismen te verklaren. De verschillende experimenten resulteren ook in twee optimale vonktechnologieën. Met een statistische analyse wordt de relatie tussen de procesparameters en een aantal uitgangsgrootheden (MRR, Ra en randkwaliteit) onderzocht. De studie wordt afgerond met het onderzoeken van het effect van polarisatie; de invloed van een grafietelektrode; en een analyse van stroom en spanningspulsen via pulsmonitoring.

This thesis examines a sustainable and generationally fair pension contract (reform). By means of a value-based ALM study, I indicate whether age cohorts gain or lose from a contract reform. I demonstrate that the current FTK pension contract ambition to safeguard a nominal pension while aspiring a real pension is not sustainable and fair across generations. First, for the current average funding position of the Dutch pension funds, the current FTK contract does not proportionally reward the elderly for the risks they are exposed to.

Dogs: wolves in a sheepskin?Dogs are wonderful creatures. There is something about the twinkle in their eyes that makes them such a unique species. Like no other animal they have successfully found new ways to function in our human-made world. However their presence is not always filled with joy and happiness. As much as dogs seem to enjoy spending time with humans they still need us to treat them with the respect and handling that is appropriate to their nature.  Some dog owners are lucky enough to never have considerable trouble with their dogs.

 Migration has a long history since the birth of humanity. The largest movements of people in history were the barbarian migrations that overran the Roman Empire in the 4th and 5th centuries AD and the Atlantic Migration to the Americas from the early 1800s to the early decades of the 20th century. For a thousand years, from the end of the Roman Empire in the West until the middle of the 15th century, the history of Europe, Asia, and North Africa consists of an almost unbroken series of invasions, wars, and conquests.
