Hoe zorg je ervoor dat zelflerende algorithems ook echt slimmer worden en efficienter functioneren. Deze master-thesis beschrijft een theoretisch en praktisch onderzoek hoe je dit zou kunnen doen en waar je op moet letten zodat algorithmes kunnen leren van eerdere ervaringen.

Dit onderzoek richt zich op de begeleidende rol van de leerkracht tijdens het aanbieden van metacognitieve vaardigheden en is gericht op cruciale leerkrachtvaardigheden die nodig zijn tijdens het aanleren hiervan.

Een vergelijkend onderzoek naar de (h)erkenning van het theoretische kader ‘Cultuur in De Spiegel – (Vlaanderen)’ door leerlingen, leerkrachten en experts met betrekking tot kwalitatieve danseducatie in het Vlaamse lager onderwijs.

Het doel van deze thesis is een advies te vormen ter verbetering van het Vlaamse formele onderwijs. Daarbij werd onderzocht in welke mate de theoretische onderbouwing CiS(v)- om te komen tot meer kwaliteit binnen formele danseducatie in Vlaanderen- (h)erkend wordt door de belanghebbende.

De scriptie heeft als doel leerkrachten handvatten te bieden tijdens het aanleren van metacognitieve vaardigheden. Dergelijke vaardigheden zijn cruciaal wanneer je kijkt naar de toekomst van het onderwijs en onze maatschappij.

Mijn eindwerk betreft een omkaderingsmodel voor de ervaringsdeskundige vrijwilligers van de HerstelAcademie Halle-Vilvoorde. De onderzoeksvraag is: “Welke behoeften hebben deervaringsdeskundige vrijwilligers van de HerstelAcademie Halle-Vilvoorde op vlak van omkadering en hoe kunnen deze behoeften optimaal ingevuld worden?”

This master thesis employs techniques of ethnographic research, analysis and qualitative interviewing to explore empirically originating understandings of how ‘liveness’ influences music performance from artist’s perspective. The topic is highly relevant and challenging as it explores the importance of performing live as opposed to mediatised performance (radio, TV broadcasts, CD recordings). ‘Liveness’ is a concept that applies to the theatre and music but not to the other forms of arts, such as visual arts, literature since the core of ‘liveness’ lies within the simultaneous presence of the artist and the audience. In terms of scope of literature in this area, this specific topic is still rather under-researched with growing interest in its relevance. Whereas there are many researchers and articles exploring ‘liveness’ in theatre or from audience perception, this thesis fills the niche of the impact of performing live upon the artist in the field of music.

In dit onderzoek werp ik licht op de wijze waarop niet-moslims in islamitisch Spanje tussen 900 en 1200 door het islamitisch recht werden beschreven en hoe deze beschrijvingen zich verhielden tot de dagelijkse sociale werkelijkheid. Hiermee toon ik enerzijds aan dat moslims toleranter waren dan veelal gedacht, en dat er een kloof was tussen de geschreven formaliteit van het islamitisch recht en de werkelijkheid van alledag anderzijds.
